The Risk Business | Chasing climbing idol Pete Whillance | Mountain Equipment
Filmmaker Dom Bush explores a personal relationship with risk by telling the story of one of his climbing idols, Pete Whillance. Pete is an understated pioneer of bold face climbing and established some of the hardest traditional routes in Britain throughout the late 70's and 80's. He is also one of the most prolific new routers in British climbing history, with around 1400 rock climbs to his name, established over six decades. Pete continues to climb and establish new routes at the age of 76.

How a young British farmer fought for his survival
Nowt but a fleeting thing: a film about a young farmer’s connection to the land, his animals and a changing world in the north of England. Battling against unsustainable farming methods and an unenthusiastic market, Adam Crowe continues to work on two neighbouring farms while fighting to launch his own business and breed a flock of sheep. In rural Britain, the threat of poverty is often frighteningly close Subscribe to The Guardian on YouTube ► http://is.gd/subscribeguardian Guardian Documentaries are rooted in The Guardian’s journalism, storytelling and artistry. BLACKTHORN
For father, poet and dry stone waller Sam Robinson, resistance is the honesty of work and words. Sam plies the thousand-year-old craft of dry stone walling in Cumbria, working in all weathers to make and maintain the lie of the land. His philosophy is one of protest, pride and authenticity — the counter-vision to a Britain bound in consumerism, the people removed from the work that once grounded their communities. Director and Cinematographer - Dom Bush Writer - Sam Robinson Producers - Helen Lawrie, Rebecca Day. Filmed in Cumbria, United Kingdom. Funded by British Film Institute (BFI) and Doc Society.
